LUX LED Lighting, a division of Gold Crest, LLC, a California limited liability company (“LUX”), is committed to respecting the privacy rights of its customers, visitors, and other users of the https://www.luxledlights.com website. LUX created this Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) to give you confidence as you visit and use these brand websites, and to demonstrate LUX’s commitment to fair information practices and the protection of privacy.

CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS RIGHTS UNDER THE CALIFORNIA CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not sell your personal information to 3rd parties.  However, we do allow 3rd parties to collect information through our services for the business purposes we describe in Section 5 and Section 8 of our Privacy Policy.

 Types of Information Collected

(a) Traffic Data Collected. LUX automatically tracks and collects the following categories of information when you visit both websites: (1) IP addresses; (2) domain servers; (3) types of computers accessing the website; (4) types of web browsers used to access the websites; (5) access times; (6) browser language settings; (7) operating system used; and (8) accessed pages (collectively “Traffic Data”). Traffic Data is anonymous information that does not personally identify you but is helpful for marketing purposes or for improving your experience on these websites. Uses of Information Collected

(a) Use of Information. LUX uses Contact Data to send you information about LUX products and services, or promotional material from some of LUX’s partners, or to contact you when necessary. LUX uses your Financial Data to verify your qualifications for certain products or services and to bill you for products and services. LUX uses your Demographic Data to customize and tailor your experience on these website, displaying content that LUX thinks you might be interested in and according to your preferences. 

(b) Sharing of Information.  LUX shares certain categories of information it collects from you in the ways described in this Privacy Policy. LUX shares Demographic Data with advertisers and other third parties only on an aggregate (i.e., non-personally-identifiable) basis. LUX also shares Contact Data and Financial Data with its business partners who assist us by performing core services (such as hosting, billing, fulfillment, or data storage and security) related to operation of this website. Those business partners have all agreed to uphold the same standards of security and confidentiality that LUX promises to you in this Privacy Policy, and they will only use your Contact Data and other Personal Information to carry out their specific business obligations to LUX. Confidentiality and Security of Personal Information. 

Except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy, LUX will keep your Personal Information private and will not share it with third parties, unless such disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with a court order or other legal process; (b) protect LUX rights or property; or (c) enforce LUX’s Terms of Use. Your Personal Information is stored on secure servers that are not accessible by third parties. LUX provides you with the capability to transmit your Personal Information via secured and encrypted channels if you use a similarly equipped web browser. 

Ability to Access and Update Information

LUX maintains a procedure in order to help you confirm that your Personal Information remains correct and up-to-date. At any time, you may visit your personal profile on the websites. Through your personal profile you may: (a) review and update your Personal Information that LUX has already collected; (b) choose whether or not you wish for LUX to send you information about LUX, or promotional material from some of LUX’s partners; and/or (c) choose whether or not you wish for LUX to share your Personal Information with third parties. 

Lost or Stolen Information

You are solely responsible for safeguarding the secrecy of your password.  You must promptly notify LUX if your credit card, user name, or password is lost, stolen, or used without permission. In such an event, LUX will remove that credit card number, user name, or password from your account and update LUX’s records accordingly.

Public Information

These websites may contain links to other websites.  LUX is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites.  LUX also may make chat rooms, forums, message boards, and news groups available to you. Please understand that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information.  LUX has no control over its use and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your Personal Information.
