Thank you again for choosing the Brooklyn Aura Task Light! Read on below for a few things to keep in mind when unboxing.
To charge your compatible smartphone, simply place on the wireless charging pad as shown. There is a small green light on the back of the light that should come on when your phone is charging. If the small green light is blinking or not on, your phone is not charging.
Not sure if your phone is compatible? Check this list, and if it's not there, check with the manufacturer.
The wireless charger will generally charge any compatible mobile device provided the case is no thicker than 3mm. However, if the back panel is thicker, or if the case contains a battery, cards, or other metal, it may prevent the device from wirelessly charging or damage RFID chips like those found in some credit cards and key fobs. Place phone flush against the fast-charging pad like shown below.
After removing the plastic covering your light, look underneath at the base of the light. You’ll see a yellow “Remove Tab." This tab is attached to a plastic film covering the bottom of the base. If you pull back the tab, you will expose a sticky adhesive. This “sticky bottom” is for securing the lamp to a surface. The adhesive is non-residual, non-toxic, and reusable, which makes it possible to attach and detach the light should you want to move or secure it in a different position.
There are two USB charging ports in the base that can charge your phone, iPad, or almost anything with a USB cable. Watch below to see all of the Aura's features in action.
